Lou Provost named new President of VMC Satellite.

We are excited to share with you the addition of an industry veteran to the InPhonic team!

Beginning today, Lou Provost has been named the new President of VMC. Lou will be working on growing VMC’s core business as well as exploring new initiatives and improving operational efficiencies between InPhonic and VMC.

Lou is a widely recognized leader in the consumer electronics industry. Lou has a great deal of experience in growth companies and a keen ability to build business units within larger corporate structures. He joins us from RadioShack where his career spanned over 30 years. For the last six and a half years, Lou was Executive Vice President of retail operations and sales channels. All 7,000 company owned stores and dealers reported to Lou along with 100 stores in Mexico and overseas dealers. He was also was responsible for RadioShack’s central unit training, communications, and rewards teams. Together, more than 25,000 employees reported to Lou nationwide.

We would also like to thank the previous President Zee Rahim for his dedicated service to VMC and InPhonic over the last few years. We all wish Zee the very best in his future endeavors.
